BA 3304 Operations Management
Prerequisite : 2.75 GPA
Corequisite :
Focuses on the formulation of business and operational strategies, how products and services are designed, and how products and services are produced. May not be used to satisfy business major degree requirements.

BA 4000 Directed Experience (V1-6).
Prerequisite : Consent of instructor and Dean of College.
Corequisite :
Consent of instructor and Dean of the College. Enhance the student's classroom knowledge through internships, projects in the workplace, mentoring experiences, and other approved experiences

ISQS 2340 Introduction to Computer in Business
Prerequisite : A 2.75 GPA and at least a C in any college level math course
Corequisite :
This course is an introduction to the vast subject of the use of information systems in business.

ISQS 2341 Business Computer Programming
Prerequisite : ISQS 2440 and a 2.5 adjusted Tech GPA.
Corequisite :
Business problem solving using a programming language. The student is expected to demonstrate a basic competency in using the language to solve several problem situations.

ISQS 2440 Introduction to Computer Systems in Business
Prerequisite : At least a C in Math 1330 and 1331.
Corequisite :
This course surveys compute principles, procedures, hardware, and business oriented computer systems. Students gain hands-on exposure to programming, information, and communication tools such as the Internet.

ISQS 3343 Management Science and Operations Research
Prerequisite : Math 2345.
Corequisite :
Developing and understanding business decision tools and models to be applied to the managerial decision process.

ISQS 3344 Introduction to Production and Operations Management
Prerequisite : ISQS 2440, Math 2345, and a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Corequisite :
An overview of the production and operations function in organizations with examples of the application of computer and quantitative skills to management problems. Both design and operating problems are discussed.

ISQS 3345 Objected Oriented Systems in Java
Prerequisite : ISQS 2340
Corequisite :
A basic course in the design and creation of object-oriented programs, currently in Java

ISQS 3346 Internet Programming
Prerequisite : ISQS 3345 & ISQS 3348
Corequisite :
Internet Programming using PHP, Python, .NET, Ruby, and/or any other advanced web application technologies that interest industry and the insturctor.

ISQS 3347 Data Structures and Programming Languages
Prerequisite : An A or B in ISQS 2341, a 2.5 adjusted Tech GPA.
Corequisite :
Introduces students to a structured programming language. Introduces algorithmic analysis, string processing, recursion, data structures, file processing techniques, and bulk storage devices.

ISQS 3348 Database Management Systems
Prerequisite : Minimum grade of C in ISQS 3346 and 3347.
Corequisite :
Basic concepts of database management systems; recent developments in the area of database systems. Students develop a prototype database application of their own.

ISQS 3349 Introductory Telecommunications using Linux
Prerequisite : ISQS 3345 & ISQS 3348
Corequisite :
A hands-on course introducing students to computer-to-computer communication technologies and the Linux operation system.

ISQS 3351 Telecommunication Security Using Linux
Prerequisite : ISQS 3349
Corequisite :
An advanced hands-on course in seucring computer networks

ISQS 3358 Business Intelligence
Prerequisite : ISQS 3345 & ISQS 3348
Corequisite :
An introductory course to a broad range of applications and technologies for gathering, storing, analyzing, and providing access to data to help make business decisions.

ISQS 3360 Telecommunicationis Securities Theory
Prerequisite : ISQS 3349
Corequisite :
A lecture/duscussion course analyzing the basics of telecommunications theory. Best if taken concurrently with ISQS 3351

ISQS 4348 Systems Analysis
Prerequisite : ISQS 3345 and 3348.
Corequisite :
Methods for analyzing information needs and specifying application system requirements, the development life cycle and the life cycle phases leading to the determination of system requirements.

ISQS 4349 Information Systems Design
Prerequisite : ISQS 4348.
Corequisite :
Introduces the skills needed to develop a physical design and implement an operational system from the logical design of systems analysis.

ISQS 4350 Information Systems Project Management
Prerequisite : ISQS 4348.
Corequisite :
Methods for management of software development projects; procurement and financial control; career and professional considerations.

ISQS 4361 Web Application Design
Prerequisite : ISQS 3346
Corequisite :
The design and creation of web applications using a multi-tier Internet technology, currenlty Jakarta Struts and MySQL

ISQS 4381 Individual Problems in Information Systems and Quantatitative Sceinces
Prerequisite : Consent of instructor.
Corequisite :
For students with high academic achievement who are interested in enhancing their degree program by pursuing individual research or study under the guidance of an ISQS faculty member.

ISQS 4382 Internship in Information Systems and Quantitative Sciences
Prerequisite : Approval prior to employment.
Corequisite :
This course permits students to apply the concepts, principles, and techniques learned in the classroom. Up to 3 hours of internships can be applied toward a degree program.

ISQS 4383 Special Topics in Information Systems and Quantitative Sciences
Prerequisite : Consent of instructor.
Corequisite :
Examines specialized problems relating to information systems and quantitative sciences. May be repeated once for credit as topic varies.

ISQS 4385 Strategic IT and Telecommunications Management
Prerequisite : ISQS 3350
Corequisite :
The design, management, and maintenance of information technologies to provide strategic organizational advantage.
